Our mission is to connect volunteers from all over the world with health organizations to improve the well-being of global communities and increase awareness of diseases.
COVID-19 Response
Check out our COVID-19 page for volunteer opportunities! During the pandemic, there will be opportunities to volunteer virtually. At Vitality Volunteers, we think it is essential to help the people with underlying conditions and diseases, as their access to medical professionals and resources is significantly lower at these times. It is our responsibility as a community to help. We work with our partner organizations to support patients and make these uncertain times easier for them through providing resources, check-in calls, making cards, documenting stories, and anything else they may require.
Founder
Hey there! My name is Shruthi Aravindan, and I am the founder of Vitality Volunteers. I am an undergrad student at UCLA who is passionate about improving community health and empowering others to do so. Before I founded Vitality Volunteers, I noticed that a lot of people were interested in volunteering in their communities, but were unsure how to go about doing so. Simultaneously, health organizations and non-profits needed help and were unable to find available volunteers. In founding this organization, my goal is to connect both groups to work in increasing access to healthcare and making it more equitable for ALL. I hope you consider joining us as a volunteer. We would love to have you join us in our mission to improve the health communities globally.
